The peace lily (Spathiphyllum) is a popular, low-maintenance, evergreen houseplant known for its glossy, dark green leaves and elegant white, spoon-shaped flowers. Thriving in warm environments with bright, indirect light, it is an excellent, air-purifying indoor plant that also acts as a dramatic "communicator" by drooping when it needs water.
